Reading the Scriptures

" Study to shew thyself approved unto God "
                 2 Timothy 2:15

God offers salvation to everyone through His Son, Jesus Christ. This salvation is possible because Christ came into the world, lived His sinless life among us, died on the cross, and was raised from death to life. Through His death and shed blood on the cross, you can be forgiven for your sins, and through His resurrection, you can have God's promise of everlasting life.
Becoming a Christian is only the beginning of your walk with God. Reading and understanding the Holy Bible will guide you as you establish a Christian life-style and develop an intimate personal relationship with the Lord.
As you read and study God's Holy Word, you will grow spiritually each day and understand more about God's divine plan for your life. Reading the Bible on a consistent basis will help you greatly and we encourage you to read it daily with family and friends. Make a point to set a special time each day for the reading of God's Holy Word.
May God bless your new life in Him and may your knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God's Holy Word increase daily; through our Savior and Lord Jesus....AMEN

"I will instruct thee and teach thee the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.  Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee."
                                                                                    Psalm 32: 8-9

Col. 3:16,17
" Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
                                               Proverbs 3:5-12
What is the meaning of life here on earth?
What is my life worth?
What is my purpose here on earth?
God has all the answers in His Holy Book.
